As an NHS GP practice, we participate in regular audits of medical records and take part in various public health initiatives aimed at proactively improving patient wellbeing. These initiatives are often guided by organisations such as NHS England, Public Health authorities, the Care Quality Commission (CQC), and the local Integrated Care Board (ICB).
As a result, you may occasionally receive communication from us that may seem unexpected or “out of the blue.” Please do not be alarmed – these messages are very rarely urgent and are intended to support your health and wellbeing in a positive way.
If you would like more information about these communications, please request an appointment via the ‘Triage’ service on our website.
If you would prefer not to receive these messages, you can withdraw your consent for SMS or email contact by submitting a request through the triage system. Please note that, even if you opt out, we may still need to contact you by these methods for significant medical issues to ensure your safety. Please also be aware that by withdrawing your consent for SMS messages you will not receive reminders for upcoming appointments or be contacted to book routine appointments through a booking link.
Thank you for your understanding and support in helping us maintain proactive and effective care.
