Afternoon Practice Closure on Tuesday 17th June

On Tuesday 17th June, Deddington Health centre and dispensary will be closed from 1pm for GP and staff training.

For all on the day health needs during this time visit NHS 111 online or call 111,  or in an emergency call 999.

The health centre and dispensary will re-open on Wednesday 18th June for our normal working hours.

Adult immunisations

The practice provides a full range of adult immunisations & injections, which are given by our nursing team.

These include:

  • Boosters of childhood immunisations that may be needed, such as Tetanus booster or  Measles, Mumps & Rubella (MMR).
  • Travel vaccinations – Please visit our travel information page for more information.
  • Contraceptive injections e.g. Depoprovera
  • Annual campaign injections such as the annual flu jab and the pneumococcal vaccination. These are targeted  to the over 65’s and those with chronic diseases.
  • Targeted vaccinations such as shingles vaccination for those aged 70 to 79 years of age only.
  • Vitamin B12 injections for Vitamin B12 deficiency.
